This is the draft from the second Origins PTQ on MTGO that I won. I didn't think I'd top 8, but I squeaked in at 7th and ended up winning it all.

A weird thing happened with this PTQ. As soon as I won round 9, I was contacted by one of the coordinators and told that there was a DQ and that the draft that would automatically begin wouldn't count, and that a separate event would be created that we would all join to play out the top 8 draft.

My first five picks, in order, were Consul's Lieutenant, Alhammarret High Arbiter, Fiery Impulse, Thunderclap Wyvern, and Angel's Tomb, and then the draft was cancelled. That deck looked like it was going to turn out pretty nice, but maybe it would have been a train wreck. I'm not sure.

GP Atlantic City - sealed pool

Before everyone gets swallowed up in Modern Masters 2015 madness, I wanted to give my sealed pool from GP AC last weekend. After failing pretty spectacularly in the main event and reading some of the coverage, I felt as if the firm grasp of the format I thought I had was not so firm any more.
