Recently there was a local charity tournament in the Baltimore area, to help out Baltimore area magician Charles Potts with some of the rising costs of being diagnosed with cancer. The prize pool was donated entirely by the community, and the entry fees all went to Charles's family. The format was Modern, and the tournament was looking to be very lucrative.
I've been playing competitive Magic since 2003. I have played in 34 Pro Tours.
At one point, this blog only contained recaps of my drafts so that I could discuss them with other people to improve my limited skills.
Now it's mostly a place to share my thoughts and ideas about competitive Magic in general.
I'd like to extend a personal thank you to anyone who takes the time to read my posts and offer opinions.

ORI ORI ORI #2 - PTQ winner edition (again)
This is the draft from the second Origins PTQ on MTGO that I won. I didn't think I'd top 8, but I squeaked in at 7th and ended up winning it all.
